Mother's Day

I love this photo from Mother's Day this year, because it beautifully illustrates what some moments in our house are like: Liana, upset about something or other, while Leo hangs out in my arms, just going with the flow. :-) Actually though, despite this moment captured on camera, it was a very lovely morning with breakfast al fresco on our front stoop - just the four of us, eating French bakery pastries and fresh fruit.

Leo is really smiling more and more, and in general is a happy little guy. He is nearing 14 lbs at this point, and continues to be very alert and interested in the world around him. It will be interesting to see how different his personality is from Liana's, and whether or not he will be as physical as she is. He certainly has the body for it!
