Projects

By nature, Tom and I are “Project People”. We like making, designing and creating things with our hands. Usually the greatest moment in the process comes at the very end when we can stand back, breathe a sigh of relief and finally view our completed project. Tom had one of those moments a few days ago. After much dust, sweat, a little blood and yes, even a few swear words, Tom was finally able to say, “I’m DONE.” Presenting…our new stairway pantry!

 

To give some perspective, here is what the stairway leading to our basement looked like when we first moved in four years ago - no light, dingy paint and one strange little cubby space on the right...

And laughing and playing with her friend Lily, who we'll miss when she moves to Germany in April!

Yup, no doubt about it, we love our projects!
