Scorpios Unite!

The coming of fall equals BUSY TIMES around our house. Between our wedding anniversary in late October, plus all three of our birthdays within three weeks of each other - not to mention Halloween, Thanksgiving, then Christmas and New Year's Eve - we have a lot to celebrate toward the end of the year.

Our anniversary/Tom's birthday weekend in Lincoln City at the Oregon coast was awesome. Liana got to witness her first dramatic, blustery coastal storm, and I thoroughly enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub at the house we rented on the beach - even in the rain. :-) We had fun at the Newport Aquarium and the Evergreen Space and Aviation Museum - I never knew quite how much there was to see in there! Liana's first Halloween was spent dressed up as a perfectly plump turkey - costume courtesy of Babi. I'm still amazed that it had already been through three other kids before her! She had fun strolling around trick-or-treating with her cousins and then later with good friends, and collected quite a nice selection of candy for her parents to indulge in. ;-)

Next up is Liana's first birthday - the last Scorpio of our bunch. These days she is doing all that an almost-one-year old should be doing. She has already taken about seven steps on her own, so true walking is probably not far off! Here she is playing with a little stroller/walker toy that her friend was so good to loan her for a few months - thanks, Lily!
